This Digital Library is a State-of-the- Art, Modern Resource for Emergency Management and Planning for urban areas in the event of earthquakes. It contains a systematic and searchable collection of resources for Earthquake Risk Identification and Management for Civil Infrastructure.

It is intended for civil engineers, emergency managers, academicians and students. This library was planned to aid the efforts of Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and Northeast States Emergency Consortium (NESEC).

The existing and planned resources include: historical and new information about earthquakes; new and improved databases (authorized access only) for commercial and public earthquake risk management software and,GIS maps and pictures in this SINGLE location.
